FADHILI MANONGI
Mr. Fadhili Josiah Manongi was born in 1954 in Lushoto, Tanga Region. He joined Tanzania Civil Authority on 9th August 2005 as Director of Economic Regulation.Prior to TCAA, Mr. Manongi was working as Director of Corporate Planning with Tanzania Telecommunications Company (TTCL) after he was promoted from the Chief Economist position in 1988.
Other offices he worked for are Rufiji Basin Development Authority as Technical and Consultancy Services (1990-1996), Country Macro- Economist in Republic of Palau (1988- 1989) and Marketing Superintendent with ATC (1984- 1988).
His expertise in aviation dates back from 1984 when he joined Air Tanzania Corporation (ATC) as Senior Marketing Research and Planning Officer (1984) and in the same year promoted to Marketing Superintendent. Before joining ATC, he was working as Economist with the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
His main areas of expertise include Strategic Business Planning, Economic and Financial analysis, Market Research and Regulation.
Mr. Manongi Holds a B A, in Economics (University of Dar es Salaam), a post Graduate Diploma in Integrated Surveys Land Planning (Netherlands Institute of Aerial Surveys and Earth Sciences) and an MA degree in Development Economics (Centre for Development Economics, Williams College).

JOHN NJAWA
He is Director Safety Regulation since 2008. His experience in Aviation dates back about 30 years ago when he joined Abnitio training on the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering at Hindustan Institute Technology Madras, India.
Mr. Njawa, a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, holds a Masters of Science Degree in Air Transport Management. Prior to his appointment as Director of Safety Regulation, he was the Chief Airworthiness Inspector it the Authority.
Mr. Njawa has attended various courses which make him more experienced in aviation industry, some of them being, an Accident Investigation Course at Cranfield Institute of Technology, Cranfield Bedford England, Pratt Whitney Heavy Maintenance PW125 Engine course at Longeuil Canada and FAA and ICAO Government Inspectors Airworthiness Course.

ANTHONY MAKWAIA
Mr. Anthony Makwaia was born in Shinyanga on 23 September 1963. He joined the Authority in 2007 as Chief Planning Officer from Plan International Mwanza where he was working as Credit Manager.
Mr. Makwaia holds Post Graduate Diploma in Enterprise Development and Entrepreneurship from the University of Dar es Salaam which he obtained in 2006. He has also Bachelor of Arts Degree – Economics (Hons) from the University of Dar es Salaam obtained in 1992.
He has attended various short courses in Project Management in and outside the country including Strategic Planning and Management from Mananga Centre for Integrated Programme, Certificate in Banking from Uganda Institute of Bankers, Certificate in Microfinance from Kenya Rural Enterprise Programme Bank (K-Rep) – Nairobi.

REUBEN RUHONGOLE
He joined the Authority in 2006 from the Institute of Social Work where he was a Director of Finance and Administration.
He has held various positions in different offices like Training Manager with SIDO, Director of Manpower and Administration with NUWA and Director of Corporate Planning and Financing with NIC.
He holds a Master degree in Management from Arthur D. Little Management Education Institute, USA and Bachelor Degree in Management and Administration from University of Dar es S.alaam, Tanzania.

CHARLES MICHAEL CHACHA
He is the Director of Air Navigation Services (DANS) after being appointed by the Board of Director of Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority on 11 June, 2009
Mr. Chacha, an Air Navigation Engineer, holds a Masters in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law. He has been in the aviation industry for more than 30 years.
Mr. Chacha has aviation work experience which includes, Chief Instructor ARM Engineering, CATC Tanzania from 1986-2004, Training Coordinator, DCA Headquarters 1982-1985, Operations Engineering Technician, DCA Tanzania starting 1977 to 1982 and Assistant Maintenance Engineer Trainee, EAC 1976-1977.
Prior to this appointment, he was the Principal of TCAA Civil Aviation Training Centre (CATC), the post he held from 2005.

VALLERY YUSTI LUANDA CHAMULUNGU
Mr. Vallery Chamulungu was born on 1961 at Tawa Village, Matombo in Morogoro Region,Tanzania. He graduated from University of Dar es Salaam in 1992 where he obtained LLB (Hons).Four years later (1996) he was admitted as Advocate. He joined the Authority on January 2011 as Corporate Secretary from the Ministry of Agriculture Cooperative Audit and Supervision Corporation, Dodoma where he was holding the same position.
He also worked as Senior Legal Officer with Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences from 2005 to 2010 and Legal Officer at, the National Bank of Commerce from 1995 to 1997.
He started his carrier as State Attorney in the Ministry of Justice and Constitution Affairs from 1993 to 1995.
