Manual of Guidance for the Preparation of Training Manual .
It guides the operator on preparation of Training Manual in accordance with regulation 61 of the Tanzania Air Navigation Regulations, 2003. it addresses information necessary to enable instructors perform their duties according to company policy and conforming with regulatory requirements.

Manual of Guidance on Appointment of Aviation Instructors, Examiners and Test Pilots
Provides guidance to operators on the basic qualifications in the appointment of Aviation Medical Examiners, training instructors and examiners and their privileges in carrying out the mandatory training and tests as required by Tanzania Air Navigation Regulations.

Flight Operations

Manual of Procedures for Flight Operations Inspections, Certifications and Continued Surveillance
The Manual guides the Operator on establishing and maintaining safe, regular and efficient commercial air transport in accordance with appropriate Regulations. Stress is put on procedures for certification and provision of continued surveillance of air transport operators by the Authority. The manual outlines the duties and responsibilities of both the operator and the Authority.

Manual of Guidance on the Mandatory Occurrence-reporting Scheme
This is a guidance scheme on mandatory reporting on occurrences that affect the safety of flight which is not meant to be punitive. The objective of the scheme is the Authority is advised of potentially hazardous incidents and occurrences which shall be disseminated to other persons and organisations. This knowledge is expected to improve the level of flight safety.

Manual of Guidance for the Preparation of Operations Manual
The manual guides the operator on developing the supervision of operations. It identifies, as required by the Regulations, topics that should be considered by the operator on developing the Operations Manual. The Operations Manual guides operator’s personnel and crew on daily operations according to State’s regulatory requirements and company policy. It sets standards, crew qualifications and requirements.

Aircraft Cabin Safety Manual
Cabin Safety Manual guides the operator to develop a manual for the cabin crew which addresses such information and instructions to enable cabin crew perform their duties. It identifies topics which should be considered when developing cabin safety manual.

Airworthiness

Airworthiness Notices
Airworthiness Notices are issued pursuant to regulation 167 of the TANR by the Director General to circulate information to all concerned with the airworthiness of civil aircraft. The Notices are issued in two sections one of general guidance in the form of “A” Notices and the other being those directly concerned with aircraft airworthiness matters and so of a mandatory nature in the form of “B” Notices.

Manual of Airworthiness Requirements
The Manual of Airworthiness requirements is promulgated to the industry in the context of exercising various discretionary powers conferred to the Director General under the Tanzania Civil Aviation Act, 1977 and the Tanzania Air Navigation Regulations with a view to ensuring effective implementation of the Tanzania Air Navigation Regulations as well as Standards and Recommended Practices contained in Annexes to the Chicago Convention.

The Flight Operations Inspectors Handbook is one of the TCAA internal manuals issued to guide Flight Operations Inspectors in performing their regulatory functions as required by the Tanzania Air Navigation Regulations, 2003.
