|THE 47TH NATIONAL CIVIL AVIATION SECURITY COMMITTEE (NCASC) MEETING HELD IN ZANZIBAR|
Members of the National Civil Aviation Security Committee (NCASC) met in Zanzibar on October 05th and 06th, 2021 as part of 47th committee proceedings.
The purpose was to discuss various national civil aviation security issues in the country.
The Minister for Works, Communication and Transportation of Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar Hon. Rahma Kassim Ali has officially inaugurated the meeting and applauded members for a well job done.
On the other hand, the committee inspected the new Terminal III building of the Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (AAKIA).
The committee meets quarterly to review the civil aviation security status and hence makes recommendations for effective security measures and processes.
