Zanzibar, March 25, 2025 – As part of its commitment to social responsibility, the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) has donated essential supplies to orphaned children at the ZASO Centre in Zanzibar. The initiative aims to improve the well-being of the children and ensure they have access to basic necessities.
During the handover ceremony, TCAA Director General Salim Msangi highlighted the organization’s dedication to giving back to the community and supporting those in need.
“TCAA recognizes its role in society beyond aviation. We believe every child deserves a chance at a better life and quality education, which is why we are here today,” said Msangi.
A representative from ZASO expressed gratitude for TCAA’s support, emphasizing the positive impact it would have on the children’s daily lives.
“We appreciate TCAA for stepping forward to assist these children. This kind of generosity and solidarity helps create a nurturing environment for their growth,” they stated.
The children at the center welcomed the donation with joy, acknowledging how it would help meet their everyday needs. This initiative reflects TCAA’s ongoing efforts to contribute to community development and support vulnerable groups.
