The Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) was established by Section 35 of the TCAA Act, Chapter 80 (R.E 2023). The Authority mandate is to provide for the control, regulate and orderly development of civil aviation in relation to air transport, aeronautical services, air navigation services and to provide for it operations.

As provided in the above-mentioned Act, the Minister for Transport is vested with powers to appoint the Board Members of the Authority from among the qualified persons. In facilitation of the said appointment, the Permanent Secretary invites qualified Tanzanians to fill two (2) vacancies of the Board members.
