In accordance with Regulation 21(6) of the
Civil Aviation (Security) Regulations, 2018, and Section 7.6 of the National
Civil Aviation Security Training Programme, 2023, the Authority has scheduled a
certification process for National Aviation Security Instructors. This will
take place at the TCAA Headquarters from 27-31 January 2025.
(a) At least a bachelor’s degree from a
recognized institution.
(b) Instructor training from an educational
or training institution recognized by the Authority.
(c) Certification by the Authority, ICAO or
other Appropriate Authority.
(d) Extensive knowledge of and at least five
years’ experience in aviation security operations; and
(e) Must have successful completed one or
more of the following courses and workshops: International, regional and
National aviation security regulations; ASTP 123 Basic; STP 123 AVSEC Instructors; STP 123 Air cargo and Mail Security; STP 123 Supervisors course; STP 123 Management course; AVSEC crisis Management Course; AVSEC Risk Management Workshop; and other relevant AVSEC trainings and workshops.
Organizations are invited to nominate candidates who meet this requirement and submit applications to the Authority by 10 January 2025. Nominees should submit fully completed application forms, available for download here, along with the following documents:
i) Academic Certificates
ii) Medical form completed within one month
prior to certification
iii) Fully completed personal data form
Please note that a certification fee of USD 300 (or its equivalent) per person is payable to the Authority before the certification process. Payment Control Number is available at TCAA headquarters prior to depositing the fees through NBC Account Number 011105002975 in the name of Director General- Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority.
