The Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) hosted a delegation from the South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority (SSCAA) Board of Directors at its Headquarters in Ukonga Banana, Dar es Salaam, on 24 October 2026, as part of a benchmarking visit taking place from 22 to 26 October 2026. The visit aimed at exchanging experiences and best practices in aviation regulatory oversight, institutional governance, organizational structures, and air navigation services management.

The delegation was led by SSCAA Board Chairperson Hon. Samuel Mikaya Yanga, accompanied by SSCAA Director General Eng. Mosety Kat Monyjok and other Board members. They met with TCAA Board Chairperson Dr. Hamisi Mwinyimvua, TCAA Director General Dr. Jabiri Bakari and members of the TCAA management team.

As part of the benchmarking programme, the delegation visited the Civil Aviation Training Centre (CATC) Main Campus at Terminal I, the extended TX Campus and the ongoing construction of new CATC facilities adjacent to TCAA Headquarters on 23 October 2026.

The visit highlights the importance of regional cooperation, knowledge sharing and institutional capacity building among African Civil Aviation Authorities.
