The Director General of the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA), Dr. Jabiri Bakari, has urged staff to work diligently, uphold professional ethics, and ensure that members of the public and stakeholders receive quality services in a timely manner.

Dr. Bakari made the call on October 23, 2026, in Dar es Salaam, while officially opening the first meeting of the TCAA Workers’ Council for the 2026/2027 financial year.

In his address, Dr. Bakari emphasized the importance of every employee performing their duties professionally and responsibly. He noted that cooperation among staff members is essential to improving efficiency and achieving the Authority’s objectives.

He further urged Council members to use the meeting to deliberate on issues affecting staff performance and welfare, propose measures to improve service delivery, and ensure that feedback on the discussions reaches the employees they represent.

During the meeting, participants also attended a presentation on “Public Service Ethics and Government Communication,” delivered by Professor Hassanal Issaya.
