The Director General of the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA), Dr. Jabiri K. Bakari received a courtesy visit from the new Ethiopian Airlines Country Manager for Tanzania Ms. Netsanet Geleta at the TCAA Headquarters in Banana, Ukonga, Dar es Salaam, on 2 July 2026. Accompanied by members of her team, the Country Manager commended the longstanding partnership between TCAA and Ethiopian Airlines, describing it as a reflection of the strong bilateral relations between Tanzania and Ethiopia. She expressed her commitment to strengthening the partnership for the mutual benefit and development of both countries.

Welcoming the delegation, the DG TCAA warmly welcomed the new Country Manager to Tanzania and wished her success in her new assignment. Noting that it was her first visit to the country, he encouraged her to explore Tanzania’s diverse tourist attractions, including Zanzibar’s beautiful beaches and rich cultural heritage, as well as the country’s world renowned national parks.

The DG thanked Ethiopian Airlines for its continued confidence in TCAA and reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and efficient civil aviation environment. He emphasized that TCAA will continue working closely with Ethiopian Airlines and other operators to support the sustainable growth of the aviation sector and strengthen Tanzania’s air connectivity.
